Now, we don't know whether to say he is based in Atlanta, Lagos or London (Because he has a home in these places) -well, wherever he is based, Ayo Shonaiya is a british trained lawyer,international music promoter, creative director behind Kognation,film director/producer and CEO of R70.
Yesterday,Ayo and siblings organised a burial ceremony in honour of his late father Babafemi Shonaiya at the University of Lagos multi-purpose hall, Akoka.The place was packed full of personalities from far and near to celebrate with the Shonaiyas.
King Wasiu Ayinde Mashal, the widely travelled fuji musician was on the band stan and it was as if money was going out of fashion. K1 the Ultimate as the musician is popularly called sprayed a lit of money and he was also sprayed in different currencies.Friends of the Shonaiyas such Percy Ademokun,Howie T, Kingsley James, Gbenga Adeyinka, Bisoye Fagade and others were at the event.
