Fayose |

Despite the initial controversies that nearly marred the burial of Late Apostle John (Fayose) Oluwayose, his remains has finally been interned in his home town, Afao-Ekiti in Ekiti State.Last week, some of the children of the late cleric had raised alarm that Ayodele Fayose,a former governor of Ekiti State and one of the children of the deceased had planned to bury their father against their father's wish that she should be buried in Ibadan, where he had been doing his missionary work in the 50 years with Christ Apostolic Church.
The burial ceremony started on Thursday and ended on Sunday with thanksgiving service.On Thursday there was a long procession in Afao-Ekiti as people danced round the town with the remains of the late pastor.There was lying in state at the ex-govenor's residence before it was finally taken to the deceased own residence.
The ex-govenor was supported some of his siblings,which included Olusegun Fayose,Bimbo Fayose and others.On friday, the ceremony was more like a political rally as members of the Action Congress,friends and well wishers converged in Church and reception venue. The governorship candidate of Ekiti State,Dr.Kayode Fayemi and his wife,Bisi were there. Others included former governor of Ondo State,Envagelist Bamidele Olonilua.
Fayose used every opportunity to campaign for Fayemi as the governor of Ekiti State.He asked people to vote for him so that he emerged winner at the re-run election coming up on April 25.
